Key Features

Below are the standard key features of a Rolt Die Cutter.

  1. ๏The quality of the kiss cutting is of such quality that the can be run through automatic application machines.

  2. ๏Thermal die cutting is also available.

  3. ๏The die cutter is available in several different widths and lengths.

  4. ๏Cutting pressure: 35 tonnes with adjustable speed and dwell.

  5. ๏Cutting tooling: 0.918”, backing plates available for 8, 10, 12 mm tooling.

  6. ๏Standard ‘x’ axis registration. The same registration system used on the print unit can be installed on the die cutter.

  7. ๏The maximum production speed is adjustable up to 6000 impressions per hour.

  8. ๏Adjustable fixed stops.

  9. ๏Operating at less than 85dB for optimum operator comfort.

  10. ๏Easily removable chase enables the straight forward mounting of tools either with screw or quoin fixing.

Die Cutter

This is a fixed stop steady pressure machine which can be made the same size as the printers, and can emboss or deboss. Different pressures are available

 



Product Overview

The Rolt Die cutting machinery is engineered to produce good quality kiss cutting. The kiss cutting quality is such that the labels die cut with Rolt machinery can be run through automatic application machines. Ordinary tools of various heights can be used from 8mm up to "type height" tools. Thermal die cutting is also available. The machinery comes in different widths and lengths. In addition to the standard size of 15.5"x 20" (934mm x 508mm), other larger sizes are 20" x 30" (508mm x 762mm) and 30" x 50" (762mm x 1270mm).

The die cutter is designed to run in line with the Rolt Advanced Stripper Finishing Unit to wind up finished rolls of product. A sheeter can be attached to the die cutter
