UV Dryers
A single lamp GEW UV system. A 160 watt per cm, 400 watt per inch cool web system.
A double lamp GEW UV system. A 320 watt per cm, 800 watt per inch cool web system.
Product Overview
The UV dryer can be fitted to the infeed side of any hot air dryer. The Rolt designed UV system cures continuously at a constant web speed. This design shows huge advantages over intermittent feed dryers, where the shutters are cycled for each print. Because the UV runs continuously the shutters only close when the whole line stops.
This results in steady and very reliable UV curing and extends the life of the UV lamps and shutters.Rolt offers UV drying which has been developed with several different lamp suppliers to provide different amounts of power while not overheating the product. Rolt can produce a UV dryer which heats the web to 50°C or less, while running 800 Watts per inch (320 Watts per centimetre).
